Escape From Tarkov Gets New Balancing Changes to Gear, Prices and More

In a recent update, Escape From Tarkov, the realistic tactical multiplayer first-person shooter developed by Battlestate Games, unveiled significant balancing changes to its game economy, affecting a broad spectrum of equipment, from helmets and chest rigs to glasses and face shields.

These changes include equipment selling price updates, repair cost adjustments, melee weapon damage modifications, and even an armor class reduction for the Galvion Caiman Hybrid helmet.

The selling price for a broad range of equipment has seen a noticeable rebalance. For instance, the selling price of the NPP KIASS Bagariy armored rig soared from 58,280 to 90,334, marking a substantial increase. The cost of the Team Wendy EXFIL Ballistic Helmet also witnessed an upsurge, with its selling price jumping from 81,344 to 101,680.

In addition to the price adjustments, the damage output of melee weapons has been adjusted. Below you can find the official announcement, including the item details:
